Admissions Process

The San Diego French American School is now accepting applications for the 2018-2019 academic year!

To apply, please follow the steps below, or fill out our inquiry form for more information. The application deadline is February 2nd, 2018. All supporting documents must be submitted by this date.  After February 2nd, applications will still be accepted, however applicants may be placed on a waiting list for classes that have reached capacity. We encourage you to begin the process as early as possible.

ADMISSION PROCESS – STEPS TO APPLY:

STEP 1 – SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION:
With your application, please make sure to include all of the application check list documents and return it back to us via email.

STEP 2 – RECEIVE NOTIFICATION OF APPLICATION:
Our admissions team will review the file and will be in touch with an update on your child’s admission or application status.

STEP 3 – STUDENT READINESS ASSESSMENT:
After a positive review of your child’s application, a student readiness assessment will need to be scheduled. This friendly assessment encompasses a conversation, reading, writing and some mathematics. For children of ages 2 through 5, the child’s assessment is play-based.

STEP 4 – FINANCIAL AID:

If appropriate, submit a financial aid application. Application for financial aid are available now and close February 2nd, 2018. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on a funds-available basis. The financial aid application process is separate from the admissions application.

STEP 5 – RECEIVE OUR DECISION LETTER – ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION:

Accepted applicants will receive an enrollment agreement via email to complete, sign and return to our admissions office. A tuition deposit will be due at time of signing to secure a space for the 2018-2019 academic year.
