Digital citizenship is a key component of the Advisory Program in 6th, 7th and 8th grades. Each grade will benefit this school year from several workshops led by our STEAM coordinator, Mr. Tregouet. On top of that, on October 11, all middle school students rotated through 4 workshops, which had defined topics and objectives:
Also, students started to reflect on their personal habits in using social media and the Internet. The data collected is a meaningful starting point to further digital citizenship awareness and education.
CC Meet @ La Jolla Shores
Girls Team 1st, Boys 3rd. Julie bronze (5th & 6th), Emeraude bronze & Emi silver (7th & 8th)
The 6th grade students have put their knowledge and drawing skills to good use by creating comic books telling the story of several famous scientists and the discoveries they made, which changed our understanding of the universe. When learning is fun, memorization gets easier!
We made 43 colorful blankets today, all together in the auditorium!
These blankets will be delivered by the charity “Children Help Children Int’l ” at the end of October to children of two orphanages in Haiti.
Thank you to all students and teachers for their effort and energy!
