Located in the lower school building, the library is open from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. The collection counts more than 18,000 books in French, English and Spanish, as well as a multimedia collection (DVD, audio books…), and French magazines.
All students come to the library with their teachers on a regular basis to listen to stories, conduct research projects, or borrow books. The schedule and borrowing rules are explained by each teacher at the beginning of the school year.
Children stay in class and the librarian reads to them via Zoom. A selection of books and magazines is available in class for students to enjoy.
Book donations are welcome, as long as they respect the following criteria: children’s books only, published after 2000, in excellent condition and preferably in French.
Through the library, parents may subscribe to magazines and buy books from the following publishers: l’école des loisirs, Milan, Bayard, and Scholastic.
All your orders encourage your child to read and help the school acquire more books for the library.
