San Diego French-American School’s dual-language curriculum incorporates the strengths of both the French and the American systems of education.
At SDFAS, students are immersed in the richness of the French language and culture and educated in a standardized program used in 480 schools worldwide. They receive an excellent education in all disciplines, administered in a bilingual program that offers the students the possibility of continuing in an international, French or American school system, in high school or college.
At SDFAS, we offer a rich academic program taught in two languages, combining the best of the French and American systems of education. Along with a strong commitment to excellence in math, the sciences, arts and sports, SDFAS prepares its students with the skills they will need to face the challenges of the future. Students will develop communication skills, helping them adapt to different cultures and diverse environments. Autonomy is encouraged early on and helps the children grow up with a sense of responsibility. The methods used help them become independent thinkers and problem solvers.
SDFAS is organized into three divisions: the Pre-elementary School (PK0 to Kindergarten), the Lower School (1st to 5th grade), and the Middle School (6th to 8th grade).
