Halloween and Grandparents Day

Pre-Elementary School and Kindergarten

Each student will bring a plain pumpkin to school for the Pumpkin patch on Monday, October 28th.

The pumpkins will be decorated in class and used as a background for the group pictures on Halloween Day. 

Pre-Elementary and Kindergarten Schedule

8:30 am Kindergarten Students arrive in class in costume

8:15 am – 8:45 am PK0-PK1-PK2 Students arrive in costume on the Pre-Elementary school playground

8:45 am – Kindergarten/PK2/PK1/PK0 Class Picture (grandparents in auditorium)

9:15 am –  Pre-Elementary and Kindergarten Parade 

9:30 am – Pre-Elementary and Kindergarten students watch elementary flashmob

9:45 am – Picture with grandparents / snack time (Pre-Elementary school playground)

10:15 am – Grandparents, Parents and Special Friends go home – Thank you for visiting and Happy Halloween!

 

Elementary School (Grades 1 to 5)

Kindergarten students meets on the Pre-elementary playground upon arrival on Halloween Day.

Elementary and Kindergarten Schedule

8:30 am – 9:10 am  Class

8:45 am – 9:10 am – Grandparents gather in the auditorium for a presentation including students performances

9:15 am – 9:30 am – Preschool Parade

9:30 am – 10 am – Elementary “toes-knees-chest-nut” Energizer, Elementary Fashion Show and Elementary flash mob!

10 am –  Recess – Grandparents, Parents and Special Friends go home – Thank you for visiting and Happy Halloween!

10:15 am – Back to class

Costumes 

  • This is a full school day, we ask students to wear costumes that will allow them to work in class. 
  • No masks. 

 

Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)

Middle School Schedule

8:30 am – 9:10 am – Class

9:15 am – 9:30 am – Preschool Parade

9:30 am – 10 am – Elementary Fashion Show & flash mob

10:00 – 10:20 am –  Potluck organized by the Party Planning Committee (PPC)

10:20 am – 10:40 am –  Middle School Costume Contest

10:40 am – Back to class.

Middle School Potluck

All students can participate in the Potluck by bringing Halloween food: the best student made production will be rewarded. The Potluck will be managed by the PPC.

Costume contest :

  • The categories of the Costume Contest are: the funniest, most original, best of the best.
  • A photo booth will be made available to students and will be managed by the PPC.

Costumes Guidelines:

  • When you arrive at school, please do not wear your mask: we must be able to identify each student.
  •  Weapons, sticks, swords, and other potentially harmful accessories are not allowed.
  • Abstain from offensive, discriminatory and political references.
  • Please check your costume idea with your advisor/main teacher.
