SDFAS travel policy

Current CDC travel recommendations are for unvaccinated persons (students) to quarantine for 7 days after they return following non-local travel. Non-local travel is >120mi from your residence.

The school strongly recommends this post-travel quarantine, but will no longer be enforcing it.

Please contact me at nurse@sdfrenchschool.org regarding any future travel plans, as your child will be required to have a negative PCR covid test obtained after they return to San Diego. I will need to see the negative covid test result prior to their return to campus.

What to do if my Child is Sick?

If your child is experiencing any covid symptoms (runny nose, nasal congestion, cough, fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, fatigue), please keep them at home and email nurse Marilyn and your division director as soon as possible. In order for a symptomatic student to return to campus, they must have a negative covid test result, be fever-free without medication for 24hrs, their symptoms must be improving, and 24hrs have passed since the onset of their symptoms.
