Kindergarten Field Trip
- March 9th – 8:30 am – 11:30 am – Landmark’s Ken Theater
- We will join l’Alliance Française for Festinema, a mini film festival in French.
PK1- Field Trip to Bates Nut Farm
- March 12th
- The visit to Bates Nut Farm will conclude our theme “Farm and Farm Animals”. We will go on a hayride, learn the basic facts about farm animals, meet some of the animals and feed them.

- Due to new regulations, if ever a student is present at school and not signed in / out, we now need parent permission for SDFAS staff to sign children in & out of school.

1st Grade Field Trip

- The 1st graders will go downtown to attend “Music for Kids” in Balboa Theater.
4th, 5th, and 6th Grade Forum
- March 5th – 8:30 am – Auditorium
- La Jolla Playhouse will present the 2020 POP Tour to the students.
1st and 3rd Grade Field Trip
- March 10th – 8:30 am – 11:30 am – Landmark’s Ken Theater

5th Grade Forum
- March 12th – 8:30 am – Auditorium
- Students will present their collaborative math projects, in which they used geometry and modeling skills to design and create “vehicles of the future.”

Slam Workshop
- March 9th and 10th
- Sébastien Gavignet will be back on campus to work with our MS students on creating Slam Poetry. They will practice Spoken Words and Poetic Writing together.
Mask Workshop
- March 12th
- Decorate your mask for the dance on the MS deck. The PPC will provide paper masks, and you can bring anything you want to decorate them!

Summer Camp “Le Tour du Monde édition 2020″

- This year our summer camp is open to 2-year olds! 2-year old campers DO NOT need to be potty trained to attend.
- We are also offering an intensive French-as-a-second language camp for teenage learners. Spread the word!
