‍📸 8th Grade Graduation Pictures

Saturday, June 6th – 1 pm to 5 pm

  • Individual pictures in cap and gown will be taken in the Amphitheatre. We will begin at 1:00 pm and follow the sign-up schedule. ‍After the picture you can take advantage of being on campus to clear out your locker. Looking forward to seeing you!

‍📸 Kindergarten Graduation Pictures

June 9th – 8:30 am to 3 pm

  • We would like to provide the opportunity to take a keepsake photo of your child in graduation cap and gown in front of the school. 

🎓 8th Grade Graduation Celebration 🎉

June 12th

To our Eighth Graders, we are planning a full day of celebrations for your graduation! It will be different from previous years for sure. We will celebrate you and your time at SDFAS with an official online ceremony followed by a festive, fun, and loud parade of cars on campus!  

  • Graduation Ceremony – 11:00 am
  • Car parade – 3:15 pm  (with cars in the Preschool parking lot starting at 2:45 pm)

Virtual Summer Camp

Virtual camps for 5th-8th graders

June 22 – July 2nd

We are offering four daily camps with our staff. We hope you will enjoy them! To register click here

  • Virtual Book club in English with Emmanuel Parello from 9:00-10:15 am on weekdays.
  • Virtual Cross stitch and conversation in French with Marion Addo from 10:30-11:45 am on weekdays.
  • Virtual Aquarelle with Eva Rodriguez from 12:30-1:45 pm on weekdays.
  • Virtual Math Summer Club with Nicolas Giot from 2:00-3:15 pm on weekdays.

Preschool and Kindergarten

🖍️ Drop-Off and Pick-up of School and Personal Items

Tuesday, June 16th

PK/K teachers will have any student work and belongings available for you to pick up according to the schedule below. Library books may be returned or they may be kept over the summer, unless you are not returning in the fall, in which case they need to be returned.

  • PK0 – 9:00 am
  • PK1 – 9:45 am
  • PK2 – 10:30 am
  • Kindergarten – 11:15 am

Protocol: All students, parents, staff and faculty members must wear face coverings over their mouth and nose while outdoors on school grounds. Parents and individuals in the car – please wear a mask during the dive-through drop exchange. To minimize contact, for everyone’s safety, please place items to be returned in the trunk of the car. Please enter driveway, drive toward the curb in front of the school where you will see tables set up and staff members to assist you. If items are in the trunk, open the trunk, and staff member retrieves items from parent’s car and places any student belongings into the trunk. If car does not have a trunk, items may be handed through the passenger side window and collected by a staff member wearing protective gear and reaching a full arm’s length. Please exit the driveway as soon as you have completed the pick up / drop off exchange. 


Elementary School

Wednesday, June 17th – 11:00 am to noon

A staff member will have any student work and belongings available for pick up. Textbooks do not need to be returned. Library books may be returned or they may be kept over the summer, unless you are not returning in the fall, in which case they need to be returned.

  • 1st – 4th grade – Any request regarding school supplies or any other material left in classrooms should be sent to Francis at fcarlier@sdfrenchschool.org 
  • 5th grade – Drive-through to pick-up personal items and return Chromebooks, ipad, cases, and chargers . Please place Chromebook + Charger + Case (neoprene sleeve) in a bag labelled with the student’s name / grade / class. Masking tape with a permanent marker works well. If there is any issue with the device, please write the issue on a sticky note inside the labeled bag.

📚 Continuing French Beyond SDFAS

June 11th – 5 pm

  • A zoom meeting is scheduled to talk about High School French classes after SDFAS. These include: Advanced French classes for 9th Graders, Advanced French classes for 10th Graders, CNED Math classes (3ème), AP prep classes and others. 8th Grade parents and students are invited as well as alumni.

Following the schedule below, Chromebooks, cases, and chargers need to be returned.
