In fourth grade, students are learning about various landmarks that reveal the history of California. They chose a landmark to research, use visit their landmark, and were offered the chance to construct it using the virtual platform of Minecraft. Students enjoyed being able to “see” their landmark via VR and many chose to use technology to share what they had researched as well as a recreation. They presented their projects to their class to spread the knowledge of these iconic places in California.
