School Lunch

Girard Gourmet offers school lunches that are healthy, balanced, and natural. Girard Gourmet prepares, delivers and serves the meals to the school each full school day. Girard Gourmet often uses fresh organic produce locally grown on their farm in Julian. The menus may change based on seasonally available fresh produce. Girard Gourmet will provide non-disposable or eco-friendly utensils.

You will need to register for the lunch service online. No registrations will be accepted on paper.  If your child forgets his own lunch, an emergency school lunch may be purchased online from Girard Gourmet for $6.50.

You will need to register each child individually.

Select Pre-K or K-8 Meal Plans. Then choose your options. Make sure you fill out all of the required fields. Add your selection to the cart. Then proceed to billing. You can pay through PayPal or via credit card. You will receive a confirmation of your payment and option by email.

 Lunch Program

            The following registration options are available:

  • 2 days (Tuesday and Thursday),
  • 3 days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday),
  • 5 days a week
  • or vegetarian option 3 days (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) on Friday only.
  • $6.50: Lunch fee per day, when not prepaid
  • $6.00: K-8th per day, by year or per trimester (see rates below)
  • $5.50: Preschool per day, by year or per trimester (see rates below)

Lunch starts on the first day of school in August and ends in June.

 Registration can be done for the whole year or per trimester:

  • September – December 
  • January – March
  • April – June

A sack lunch will be substituted during field trips for registered children. Parents who chaperone for the field trip need to bring their own lunch. There is no lunch on minimum days and during the vacation breaks of October, February and April.
