The SDFAS After-School Activities Program offers more than 40 afternoon and some evening classes to more than 300 children and adults on our beautiful La Jolla campus. Selected classes are open to the public.
The After-School Activities program (ASA) is offered throughout the academic year with a wide range of fun, educational, artistic and athletic activities taught by native instructors in French, English, Mandarin, Italian and Spanish depending on the selection. All our instructors are from SDFAS or are qualified and experienced outside contractors.
The program is open to children from ages 2 to 13 years old (PK0-8th grade) with 2 sessions per year; the number of classes varies between 14 and 16 weeks per session. Classes such as cooking, homework help, Ultimate-PE, soccer, gardening, surf, dance, art, musical theater, skateboard, to name a few, are part of the program.
Classes are offered both to SDFAS and non-SDFAS students. (Except for French and English homework which are reserved for SDFAS students only).
