Congratulations to the Boys Junior Varsity Basketball Team for their victory against Nelson Middle Years tonight. Early on, both teams played hard fighting for the lead. NMY converted on back-to-back offensive rebounds, ending the first half on top, 12-11. During the second half, SDFAS controlled the tempo of the game, pressuring the ball, and capitalizing on forced turnovers. The team sealed the victory as they held on to a 4 point lead for the last 2 minutes of the game, winning 20-16. The team was lead by Nicola Redon (10 points), Colin Guckian, Diego Pardo-Tihanyi, Arthur Pegulu, Oliver Stephenson, Jaxon Leach, and Lindy Coalier.
