Tuesday, June 5, 2018 was another action packed day in Montreal! The clouds stayed around, but the rain held off!
In the morning we took the “metro” (subway) to Marche Jean Talon, located in the Little Italy district of Montreal. The Jean Talon Market is a popular favorite for both locals and tourists, brags to be one of the largest markets in North America, and has been in business since 1933.
After lunch, the students visited Radio Canada (CBC), where they had an in depth tour of both radio and film production before participating in a hands on TV broadcasting workshop. Students had a glimpse of what it would be like to work behind the camera and in front of the camera.
Our “Special Activity” this evening was at Laser Quest, located on the famous Rue St. Catherine. The students had a blast playing 2 private rounds of laser tag. For dinner, it was “Frites Alors”, to sample Canada’s national favorite dish- POUTINE!
Next day: Chutes Montmorency & Quebec City
