New Ceramics Workshop For the 8th Graders
By Bénédicte Brouder
Every Tuesday afternoon, 8th grade students enjoy their ceramic workshop as part of their “Artist en Residence” program. Artist and Ceramist Jacob Johnston (also a parent of the school) teaches various techniques to make boxes with clay.
Tanguy is assembling clay in a rectangular structure, while Angeline is dutifully preparing clay paste in her hands.

Jacob gives directions to Dylan who has chosen to work on a round box.
