Yesterday the 7th graders shared their time between classroom and outdoors. During the “Energy Dilemma” session, they faced practical problems on energy and tried to solved them by making an efficient windmill. In “CSI Pali”, they gathered and analyzed evidences to try to find the murderer!
During the outdoors classes, one group hiked learning about the “Leave No Trace” way of life, while the other group was working on food chains from predator to prey.
In the evening, we all got together around a camp fire roasting marshmallows to make some s’mores. We then hiked in the night trying to see, hear, feel the mountain in an other way.
Everybody got back to their cabin under the night sky exhausted but happy!
