Last Thursday, Marion Addo, our French Language and Literature teacher in 7th and 8th grades, provided Middle Schoolers with the opportunity to interact with younger children in PK2.
Building bridges between big kids and small kids is part of developing stronger ties in the community. The 7thA went in the PK2 classroom to help out their younger peers explore the element Earth.
“I like stone because it’s the hardest” says one girl. “Clay is the most beautiful but chalk is the most colorful” prefers another one. “Dirt is important, it’s where plants grow!” explains a little boy.
With this collection of spontaneous and genuine interactions and words, a play will be written and performed at the Winter show.
During the activity, students connected with each others while enjoying games and working together.
Thank you , PK2 teacher and students, for welcoming us in your classroom!
