SDFAS is not just a school. It is a welcoming community that brings together students and their families, faculty, staff, friends of SDFAS and alumni in a spirit of sharing, understanding and cross-cultural exchanges.
During the year, events sponsored by the school, the Development Committee, the Parents Association or other committees of the school, open the campus to all and warmly welcome the school community.
Our Enrichment Program is open to children who are not students and attending the Saturday French class is a great way to discover our program.
SDFAS also reaches out to the local community by participating in local events (La Jolla Christmas Parade) or art exhibits (La Jolla library or UCSD’s International Education Week). The Humanitarian Group of the school also raises funds for charity.
A newsletter sent via email, l’Écho, informs everyone of upcoming events or gives information about the school.
Browse regularly on the website, read the headmaster blog or the teachers’ blogs or websites and L’Écho to keep in touch!
