About Us

San Diego French-American School is one of over fifty French government (AEFE/MEN)-accredited international schools in the United States. Located within a vibrant international community, we focus on preparing students to become confident, responsible and engaged global citizens. Currently holding accreditation from the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), our goal is to be a bilingual and international educational leader that prepares students to strive for excellence, make positive contributions to society, and lead lives of meaning.

Our Campus

The French-American International School of San Diego / L’Ecole Française de San Diego was founded in 1988 by André and Chandra Bordes as a preschool/daycare housed in the Clairemont Mesa neighborhood of San Diego, California. Now located at 6550 Soledad Mountain Road, La Jolla, our campus offers a special educational and recreational experience for children ages 2-14. Our focus on bilingual studies have assisted with the development and preparation of many students in their pursuit for educational success.

Multi-lingual. Multi-talented. World Ready.
